K-DISC through the District Innovation Councils has initiated the MSME Innovation Clusters’ program called One District One Idea (ODOI). K-DISC aligns with the philosophy of digital transformation, and promotes the strengthening of Academia - Industry - Government interface to develop problem statements and implement solutions. ODOI is an innovation challenge program for manufacturing clusters, medium and micro-enterprise clusters. Innovation and technology have been identified as the primary differentiators that can take enterprises and clusters to non-linear non-incremental growth.
Aims & Objectives
- Strengthen system for problem- solving at the local level.
- Support in organising innovations locally and integrate the local innovation system of rural innovators with the overall innovation ecosystem.
- Encourage development of ideas at LSG level, identify an idea and implement it.
