Teach Science Kerala

Promoting integrated, thematic learning of Science by children in schools modeled after globally proven techniques.

In the Mazhavillu program, K-DISC works with local governments in their neighborhood to innovatively intervene in the science education of school children in the age group of 6 – 10. The program uses the methodology of integrated, thematic science teaching and enquiry-based science education. A system of dynamic assessment where continuous assessment of children individually and in small groups are done to assess the individual needs of scaffolding in order to indicate the cognitive process of children thus increasing their overall ability.
