K-DISC has been championing several Emerging Technology Projects forvarious Departments in the Government of Kerala, with cutting edge future technologies like Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Big Data &Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), Internet ofThings (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR) etc.In its continuous endeavour to promote and support product and process innovations leveraging Emerging Technologies, K-DISC has already engaged with the concerned departments/agencies to initiate projects using Emerging Technologies in areas of Healthcare, Water Resources, Transport, Law Enforcement, Agriculture and Registration. One of K-DISC’s mission is to coherently work with the Government Departments in identifying potential areas for improving efficiency,process improvements and promoting innovation, by architecting and implementing Emerging Technology based solutions with suitable providers of such products/solutions, and hand-holding the Government through piloting these solutions.
