3. Manchadi- Teaching Maths for Kerala

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Improving proficiency of Children in maths using contextualisation and mathematisation.
  • Help children aged 6-12 to think and reason, visualise, handle abstractions, formulate and solve problems.
  • Employability of aspiring adults and unemployed youth.

 

4.  Mazhavillu- Teach Science Kerala

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Imbibing scientific temper and spirit of enquiry in children.
  • Developing critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Strengthen awareness of frontiers of science through experimentation and through open ended problem solving.
  • Application of the method of science.

 

5.  District Innovation Council

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • District arm of K-DISC.
  • Connect with Educational and Research Institutions in the district.
  • Connect with MSME Clusters and develop them as Innovation Clusters using a triple Helix model.

 

6.  One District One Idea

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Organization and development of clusters break away from conventional supply sided.
  • Development of networks of MSMEs.
  • Development of strategic linkages between MSMEs and academic institutions for real life problem solving.
  • Promoting innovation and strategies for MSMEs around Business Canavas.

 

7.  One Local Government One Idea

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Strengthen system for problem solving at the local level.
  • Support in organising innovations locally and integrate the local innovation system of rural innovators with the overall innovation eco-system.

8.  Establishing Institutional Hubs for Innovation

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Establish 5-10 institutional hubs for innovation through an Institutional Challenge Programme.
  • To establish 5 District Innovative Hubs.
  • To develop a model for Kerala Innovation Fund.
  • To establish an innovation fellowship.

 

9.  Multi-Stakeholder Platform

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • MSP will allow the farmer for specialization and more income from homesteads, ensuring the Safe to Eat Food campaign.
  • A decentralized system where there is transparency through block chain technology.
  • Partnership of FPOs, Co-operatives, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Fisheries Sought.
  • Co-operative Platform targeted.
     

 

10.  Local Innovation Programme

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • The process for promotion of Local Innovation will follow Innovation Lifecycle and will leverage the Triple Helix+ model to integrate components of academia, industry, government, community, and environment.
  • A portal and a yearlong system to be established.

 

11.  Programme Management Unit for Planning & Competency Development

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • PMU will support Project Managers in the administration of K-DISC.
  • Coordination with the consultative groups, KILA, local governments, and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and managing framework for the working of the COPs, the hackathon, Steering Committee, Volunteers, interns, etc.

 

12.  SB Sen Innovation Fund

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • The amount will be provided as a lump sum as corpus for innovation promotion in LSGIs.

 

13.  Electric Vehicle Programme

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • To implement of the Electric Vehicles Policy for the state.
  • To suggest ways of bringing value addition to the mineral rich beach sands of Kerala.

 

14.  Kerala Medical Technology Consortium

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Development and mfg. of medical technologies and healthcare solutions
  • Identification of relevant Special clinical needs.
  • Multi-disciplinary R&D efforts to address clinical needs with low commercial potential
  • Creation of high paying and sustainable jobs.
